malik ishtar: motorcycle
One of Malik's most favoured possessions (apart from the Millennium Rod of course) would have to be his motorcycle. I consider it as a significant part of him, since it was one of the key factors which made him go against his duty as the future guardian of the tombs. Realising he could on no account possess a motorbike of his own, as once he stepped back underground, he would never observe the light of the sun again, would have truly hit him hard, no doubt fueling his resentment.
A bike was one of the initial things he saw, both on the TV and in the magazine he found, and it became his dream to own one. He even imagined riding a bike, by sitting on a ruin , picture from the magazine in hand, outside the tomb prior to returning back within the tomb. The motorcycle to him, was his representation for freedom and free-will, to be able to travel endless miles with no rules and restrictions, no doubt one of the incentives of why the bike appealed to him. So it would be no doubt that he cherished that bike once he acquired it.
